Golf in the Kingdom

6–8 Days | Curated Himalayan Riding Experience

Fairways in the Himalayas

Bhutan offers one of the most distinctive golfing environments in the world.

Set against forested ridgelines and Himalayan peaks, the country’s courses combine relaxed atmosphere, dramatic scenery, and a pace of play rarely found elsewhere. This journey blends curated cultural exploration with three unique golfing experiences — designed for travelers who value both sport and setting.

The Experience

Day 1 – Arrival & Cultural Introduction

Arrive in Paro and begin with a gentle cultural orientation. Visit historic fortress-monasteries and explore Bhutan’s architectural heritage before transferring to Thimphu.

Evening at leisure in a carefully selected high-end property.

Day 2 – Royal Thimphu Golf Course

Play at Royal Thimphu Golf Course, one of the highest capital city golf courses in the world.

Set at approximately 2,350 meters above sea level, the course offers narrow fairways, tree-lined holes, and a distinctive Himalayan character. The layout is modest by international championship standards, yet uniquely charming and scenically remarkable.

Afternoon at leisure or optional city exploration.

Day 3 – Drakpoi Golf Course

Play at Drakpoi Golf Course, a scenic 9-hole course set against expansive Paro Valley views.

The open layout and mountain backdrop create a relaxed yet memorable round — where the landscape often becomes as compelling as the game itself.

Return to hotel for a refined evening.

Day 4 – Eco Park Golf Course (Indian Embassy Course)

Play at the India House Eco Park Golf Course, a private course associated with the Indian Embassy.

This exclusive setting offers a tranquil environment and well-maintained greens in a wooded landscape, providing a quieter and more intimate golfing experience.

Evening at leisure.

Day 5 – Tiger’s Nest & Farewell Dinner

Balance sport with cultural depth.

Hike to Paro Taktsang, Bhutan’s most iconic monastery, perched dramatically on a cliff face 900 meters above the valley floor.

The ascent provides both physical engagement and spiritual perspective.

Conclude the journey with a curated farewell dinner — either private dining within your hotel or an outdoor bonfire setting (season permitting).

Day 6 – Departure

Private transfer to Paro International Airport.
